This session is what you NEED in your running week!
A Track/Oval session focusing on technique, strength and injury prevention with a variety of running drills and interval work.
RUNstrong caters for all levels of runners from the beginner, weekend warrior or the regular recreational runner.
Individuals progress at THEIR level.
Open to ALL abilities from 14yo+ Reserve your spot via the timetable and pick up one of the pass options below.

Social RUNclub – FREE
When motivation wanes on these dark and colder mornings come join like minded crew and get your weekly dose of HILLS. This session is FREE, guided by Janet but you simply do want you feel on the day. An important component in your running week, hard to do on your own but we know a good group will help you get it done and feel amazing after.
RUNclub is for ALL levels, 15yro+ from the beginner, weekend warrior or the regular recreational runner, we are NOT an elite group.
Reserve your spot via the timetable to receive the location email.
When: Tuesdays 6am for 6:05am depart (bring your head torch)
Where: various locations
A typical session would be a 1-2km warmup jog to our ‘hill’ complete 15-20mins repeats on the hill then jog back the 1-2km to cars. Complete at your pace, walk as needed, group is always within 100-200mtrs of each other.

So you’ve entered the MRV Ultra this coming October? Joined a team or maybe stepping up for the Solo challenge? Now that you’ve made the commitment, handed over your hard earned entry fee, now what? We all want to finish strong or not let our team mates down right? Well what if I told you your biggest challenge between now and Oct 17th will actually be getting to the START LINE feeling 100%.
To successfully complete any endurance event we can not JUST run! We need STRENGTH and MOBILITY to not only stay INJURY FREE, but to ensure we actually enjoy the ride all the way to the finish line.!
Our 12wk Program consists of 1 x Strength/gym session and 1x RUNstrong session per week, perfectly complimenting your other runs in your week. This is your opportunity to draw on Janet’s years of event experience, guiding you, offering variations as needed, nutrition and/or gear advice.

As a junior, Janet excelled on the track in athletics; beyond motherhood, she discovered the ‘therapy’ of getting out on the trails for a run!
The joy of running has taken her across the finish line and on the podium of numerous fun runs, half marathons, trail events, adventure races and in more recent times has lead her to the sport of obstacle course racing. From the muddy local paddocks at BootLeg Brewery’s MudFest to World Championships events in the USA amongst the mountains of Lake Tahoe. Events covering distances from a fast 7km to battling the dark and cold of night in gruelling 24hour Enduro Races.
Janet’s mission is to share her passion for running, to get everyone to understand they’re ‘a runner’ and they do have a ‘runners body’!
Janet is a Lvl 2 Certified Recreational Running Coach, her running experience as a #1 Australian elite female OCR athlete, along with her coaching and mentorship from some of Australia’s top athletes, coaches or fitness professionals will help your on YOUR journey.
